- 300 g potatoes
- 200 g cauliflower
- 150 g cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 100 ml cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 50 g breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes until soft.
2. Add the cauliflower and cook for an additional 5 minutes until tender.
3. Drain the potatoes and cauliflower, then mash them in a bowl.
4. Stir in the cream, butter, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
6. If desired, add breadcrumbs over the cheese for a crispy topping.
7. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
