A traditional Finnish pastry, Runebergin Tortut are deliciously moist and almond-flavored, perfect for any occasion.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Serving Size: 12 servings
Ingredients:
- 225 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 80 g almond flour
- ½ dl potato flour
- 2½ dl all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. Stir in the almond flour, potato flour, and all-purpose flour until well combined.
4. Pour the batter into greased tartlet molds.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until the tortes are golden brown.
6. Let them cool before decorating.
