Oven-Baked Cake

A delicious cake baked in the oven, perfect for coffee gatherings. Preparation Time: Over 60 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Grease and flour a long cake or loaf pan.
2. Mix the baking powder with the all-purpose flour and set aside.
3. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the batter, mixing until smooth.
6. Stir in the vanilla sugar and salt, mixing once more.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the surface.
8. Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
