Description: This delicious Rahka poppy seed filling is inspired by Estonian moonirull pastries. It's a perfect addition to sweet pastries or savory pies. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g quark
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl poppy seeds
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
2. Add the poppy seeds and mix thoroughly.
3. Whip the cream to soft peaks and gently fold it into the quark mixture.
4. Stir in the lemon juice and salt, mixing all ingredients carefully together.
5. Let the filling chill in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes before using.
