A delightful princess berry pie featuring sweet almond paste and delicious wild strawberries. This pie is the perfect dessert or treat for your coffee table.

Ingredients

- 100 g butter
- 100 g almond paste
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder

- 2 dl wild strawberries (or other berries)

Instructions

1. Melt the butter and let it cool.
2. Crumble the almond paste into a bowl and add sugar. Mix well.
3. Add the melted butter to the almond paste mixture and stir until smooth.
4. Incorporate the all-purpose flour and baking powder, mixing the dough thoroughly.
5. Roll out the dough to fit a pie dish lined with parchment paper.
6. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides of the dish.
7. Spread the wild strawberries or other berries over the dough.
8. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
