Ingredients:
- 600 g reindeer flank roll
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 g cold-smoked reindeer, sliced
- 200 g chive cream cheese
- 2 pickles, sliced
- 300 ml cream
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Slice the reindeer flank roll into thin slices and arrange them at the bottom of the pan.
3. In a bowl, mix the cream, eggs, chive cream cheese, salt, black pepper, all-purpose flour, and baking powder.
4. Pour the mixture over the reindeer slices.
5. Add the cold-smoked reindeer and pickles on top of the mixture.
6. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, until the cake is cooked through and the top is a beautiful golden brown.
7. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving. It can be enjoyed warm or cold.
