Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 1 can tuna in oil (about 150 g)
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 100 g black olives (sliced or whole)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a bit of the pasta water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until lightly golden.
3. Add the drained tuna, capers, and olives to the pan. Stir well and heat the mixture for a few minutes.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix all the ingredients together. If the mixture seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fresh basil if desired.
