Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips.
2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
3. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
4. Add the potato strips to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the oil and spices.
5. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until the fries are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through cooking.
7. Serve hot with a dip or ketchup.
