Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave. Stir well until smooth.
2. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate-butter mixture and mix until combined.
3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the surface is set but the center remains soft.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
