A delicious pancake made effortlessly in a cast iron skillet, perfectly complemented by flavorful marinated strawberries. Ideal for a summer treat. Preparation Time: 1 hour

Ingredients for the Pancake:
- 4 dl milk - 1 egg
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- Just over 2 dl all-purpose flour
- Butter for greasing the skillet
Ingredients for the Marinated Strawberries:
- 200 g fresh strawberries - Vanilla sugar (preferably real vanilla)
- Lemon juice
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix all pancake ingredients (milk, egg, sugar, salt, and flour) until smooth. Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes. 2. Preheat the oven to 225°C (437°F).
3. Grease the cast iron skillet with butter. Pour the batter into the skillet and bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes. Check occasionally to ensure the pancake doesn’t burn on top.
4. Prepare the marinated strawberries: Chop the strawberries and sprinkle with vanilla sugar, then squeeze some lemon juice over them. Let them sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to marinate.
5. Serve the pancake with the marinated strawberries on top.
