Description: A delightful and creamy panna cotta topped with fresh fruits, perfect for a refreshing dessert.
Ingredients:
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 2 gelatin sheets
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g fresh melons (e.g., cantaloupe or watermelon)
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- Optional: liqueur (e.g., strawberry liqueur or melon liqueur)
Instructions:
1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes.
2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla sugar over low heat. Do not boil.
3. Squeeze out the excess water from the gelatin sheets and add them to the warm mixture. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
4. Pour the mixture into serving bowls or molds and let it cool at room temperature.
5. Once cooled, transfer the bowls to the refrigerator and let the panna cotta set for at least 4 hours or overnight.
6. Prepare the marinated fruits: chop the melons and strawberries into pieces. If desired, marinate the fruits in liqueur for a few hours.
7. Serve the panna cotta topped with the fruit mixture and enjoy a summery treat!
