Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 2 gelatin leaves
- 8.8 oz fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water for about 5-10 minutes.
2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Do not boil; just warm until the sugar dissolves.
3. Squeeze out excess water from the gelatin leaves and add them to the warm cream mixture. Stir well until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
4. Pour the mixture into glasses or dessert bowls and let it cool at room temperature.
5. Meanwhile, purée the strawberries and mix in the lemon juice.
6. Once the cream mixture has cooled, layer the strawberry purée on top.
7. Cover the bowls with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 4 hours or overnight until set.
8. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberries.
