Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g sausage, e.g., HK-balkan
- 1 tomato
- ½ onion
- 1 tbsp mustard pickle salad
- 50 g cheese, e.g., Emmental
Instructions:
1. Remove the casing from the sausage.
2. Make crosswise cuts in the sausage, ensuring the slices remain attached at the bottom.
3. Slice the onion and tomato thinly.
4. Slice the cheese.
5. Spread mustard pickle salad into the cuts of the sausage.
6. Insert pieces of onion, tomato, and cheese into each cut.
7. Cook the sausage in a pan or in the oven until it is hot and the cheese has melted.
