A rich and moist chocolate cake that's the perfect treat for celebrations or everyday moments. Preparation time: 1 hour. Serving size: 12 pieces. Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter gently in a saucepan or microwave.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
3. Mix the melted chocolate and butter into the egg-sugar mixture.
4. Add the vanilla extract and stir well.
5. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
