A delicious and rich cake combining the sweetness of pears with the richness of dark chocolate. Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 ripe pears
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
2. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
4. Sift in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix until the batter is smooth.
5. Peel and slice the pears. Gently fold them into the batter.
6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (347°F) for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is set. Check doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy it with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
