Ingredients:
- 300 g butter
- 270 g (3 dl) sugar
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 5 eggs
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and let it cool.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the cooled melted butter to the mixture and stir well.
4. Combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the batter.
5. Squeeze the lemon juice into the batter and mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
7. Bake at 175 °C (347 °F) for about 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through and golden brown.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
