Description: This delicious apple Boston cake combines juicy apples with a soft dough, making it a great choice for coffee breaks or dessert.

Servings: 10-12 servings

Ingredients:

- 3 dl milk
- 1 packet dry yeast (or 1/2 packet fresh yeast)
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tablespoon cardamom
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 dl butter (melted)
- 7 dl all-purpose flour
- 2-3 apples (diced)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk to lukewarm and stir in the dry yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
2. Add sugar, egg, cardamom, salt, and melted butter to the milk mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add all-purpose flour and knead the dough until it is elastic and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.
5. Once the dough has risen, knead it again and fold in the diced apples and cinnamon. Mix evenly.
6. Pour the dough into a greased cake pan and let it rise for another 20-30 minutes.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is beautifully golden brown.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
