Ingredients
- Small young potatoes (e.g., Annabelle) - Coarse sea salt
- Water
Instructions
1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, scrubbing them to remove any dirt. 2. In a pot, heat water and add 1-2 teaspoons of coarse sea salt per liter.
3. Once the water is boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes.
4. Immediately transfer the potatoes to a bowl of ice-cold water to cool down.
5. Use a slotted spoon to remove the cooled potatoes and place them on paper towels to dry.
6. Allow the potatoes to dry in the refrigerator for about an hour.
7. Freeze the parboiled and cooled potatoes in plastic bags, flattening them into packages.
Enjoy fresh young potatoes in winter by boiling them lightly in hot water!
