A delightful naked cake made with rich chocolate layers, filled with creamy yogurt whipped cream and topped with fresh berries. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 slices
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 3 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 dl cream (for whipping)
- 1 dl unsweetened yogurt
- Fresh berries (e.g., strawberries, raspberries)
- Edible flowers for decoration
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Allow to cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.
3. Gently fold the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg-sugar mixture.
4. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Mix until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is cooked through. Allow to cool.
7. Whip the cream and fold in the yogurt.
8. Slice the cooled cake into three layers. Fill each layer with the whipped cream mixture and add a layer of fresh berries.
9. Repeat the layering and cover the entire cake with the whipped cream mixture.
10. Decorate the cake with fresh berries and edible flowers before serving.
