Ingredients

- 1 egg
- About 3 tsp instant coffee powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 5 dl cane sugar
- About 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 100 g soft butter
- Orange-flavored nonpareils
- About 4 tbsp strong coffee
- 2 cans crème fraîche
- About ½ dl cane raw sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, instant coffee powder, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
3. Add the soft butter and cane sugar, mixing until you have a smooth dough.
4. Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and strong coffee.
5. Finally, add the crème fraîche and mix until the dough is uniform.
6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Sprinkle orange-flavored nonpareils on top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
