Mokka-Banana Cake

A delicious combination of coffee, banana, and chocolate. This moist cake is perfect for a coffee table or as a dessert. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10-12 servings
Ingredients:
- 1½ dl strong coffee
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2-2½ dl powdered sugar
- 1 dl cream
- 2 bananas
- 300 g butter
- 150 g milk chocolate
- 1½ dl sugar
- Milk for moistening
- 3½ dl all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 26 cm (10-inch) cake pan.
2. Mash the bananas and chop the milk chocolate into small pieces.
3. In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Mix in the mashed bananas and strong coffee until well combined.
6. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then add to the batter alternately with the cream.
7. Finally, gently fold in the chopped chocolate.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is done (check with a toothpick).
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can moisten the cake with milk if desired.
