A delicious and filling alternative for pizza night, featuring colorful bell peppers as the star ingredient. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients
Dough: - 2½ dl water
- 50 g yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- About 5 dl bread flour
- 4 tbsp oil
Toppings:
- 1 large bell pepper (e.g. red or yellow)
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 100 g tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Warm the water to body temperature and dissolve the yeast in it. 2. Add the salt and oil.
3. Gradually mix in the flour and knead until the dough is elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
5. While the dough is rising, slice the bell pepper and grate the mozzarella cheese.
6. Roll out the risen dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
8. Add the sliced bell pepper and grated mozzarella on top.
9. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.
10. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
