Marja-aroniahillo (Rowanberry Jam)

A delicious homemade jam made from rowanberries, perfect for spreading on bread or serving with desserts. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: Makes about 4 jars
Ingredients:
- 1 kg rowanberries
- 500 g sugar
- 1 dl water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rowanberries thoroughly and remove any stems.
2. Place the berries in a pot with water and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes until the berries soften.
3. Strain the berries to extract the juice.
4. Add the juice back into the pot along with the sugar and lemon juice.
5. Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 20-30 minutes until the jam thickens.
6. Pour the jam into clean, heated jars and seal the lids.
7. Allow to cool at room temperature and store in a cool place.
Enjoy the rowanberry jam spread on bread or paired with desserts!
