Crispy and delicious French fries, perfect as a side dish or a snack. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into approximately 1 cm thick sticks.
2. Rinse the potato sticks in cold water and dry them well with a kitchen towel.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure the spices evenly coat the potatoes.
4. Spread the seasoned potato sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake at 200°C (fan oven) for about 25-30 minutes, until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the baking time for even cooking.
6. Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool for a moment. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
