Description: These savory-sweet muffins combine the rich flavor of Manchego cheese with the sweetness of dried figs, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients:
- 2.5 dl grated Manchego cheese
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl whole wheat flour or graham flour
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl melted butter
- 1 dl dried figs, chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, ground cloves, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat the sugar and eggs together. Add the milk and melted butter, and mix well.
4. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg mixture. Stir until just mixed; do not overmix.
5. Gently fold in the grated Manchego cheese and chopped figs into the batter.
6. Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and cooked through.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
