A delicious and easy weeknight meal that the whole family will love. Preparation time is about 45 minutes, and it serves 4.Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes
- 300 g sausage (e.g., chorizo or forest sausage)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 dl cream (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Dice the bell pepper into small pieces.
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic for a few minutes.
5. Add the sliced sausage to the pan and fry until it is nicely browned.
6. Add the bell pepper and mix well.
7. Add the potatoes to the pan and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika powder. Mix thoroughly.
8. If desired, add cream and cook on low heat with a lid for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
9. Serve warm and garnish with fresh parsley.
