A delightful and vibrant treat infused with the earthy flavor of matcha. Perfect for breakfast or a snack! Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Serving Size: 12 muffins
Ingredients:
- 120 g melted margarine
- 1 1/3 dl (120 g) sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 dl milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin cups.
3. Melt the margarine and let it cool slightly.
4. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, and melted margarine until combined.
5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and matcha powder.
7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and stir until smooth.
8. Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
9. Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and cooked through.
10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
