Delicious pastries perfect for the festive coffee table, featuring homemade dough infused with cream and brandy for a special touch. Preparation Time: Over 60 minutes
Serving Size: 12 pastries
Ingredients:
- 150 g butter
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl potato flour
- 1 dl cream
- 2 tbsp brandy
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 300 g plum jam
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, cream together the room temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add the cream and brandy, mixing well to combine.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, potato flour, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
6. Roll out the dough to about 3 mm thickness and cut it into squares.
7. Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spoon a teaspoon of plum jam into the center of each square.
8. Fold the corners of the dough towards the center and pinch to seal.
9. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
10. Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
