A delightful holiday drink that combines caramel, dark chocolate, and a hint of bourbon for a wonderful flavor experience.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4½ dl milk
- 2½ dl cream
- 1 dl caramel made from sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 dl bourbon
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, and caramel.
2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add the cinnamon sticks.
3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and warm the mixture gently, stirring for about 10 minutes, until the caramel dissolves. Do not let it boil.
4. Gradually add the dark chocolate while stirring until fully melted. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
5. Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, salt, and bourbon. Mix well.
6. Serve hot and enjoy the festive spirit!
