Preparation Time: 1 hour + rising time
Serving Size: 12 buns

Ingredients:

- 5 dl milk
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 dl butter (melted)
- 1 egg
- 12 dl all-purpose flour
- 200 g almond paste
- 2 dl heavy cream (whipped)

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk to body temperature and dissolve the fresh yeast in it.
2. Add the sugar, salt, cardamom, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour until the dough is elastic and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
5. Once the dough has risen, divide it into 12 pieces and shape them into buns.
6. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake the buns for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown.
8. Allow the buns to cool. Cut the tops off the buns and fill them with almond paste and whipped cream.
9. Place the tops back on and serve.
