A delicious twist on a traditional Finnish sweet bun, filled with creamy Biscoff spread and whipped cream.
Preparation Time: 45 minutes (plus rising time)
Serving Size: 12 buns
Ingredients:
- 500 g sweet dough
- 200 g Biscoff cookie spread
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the sweet dough or use store-bought dough.
2. Divide the dough into 12 equal parts and roll them into balls.
3. Let the buns rise under a cloth for about 30 minutes.
4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
5. Brush the buns with beaten egg and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
6. Allow the buns to cool completely.
7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form.
8. Slice the buns in half and fill them with Biscoff cookie spread and whipped cream.
