A fun and simple treat, perfect as a gift for a new homeowner or after moving into a new house. These minimalist gingerbread cookies are easy to make and decorate.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 doors

Ingredients:

- 200 g gingerbread dough
- 1 dl icing
- Chocolate sprinkles or nonpareils

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Roll out the gingerbread dough to about 0.5 cm thick.
3. Cut the dough into your desired door shape, such as a rectangle.
4. Transfer the gingerbread doors to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the gingerbread doors are golden brown. Allow to cool.
6. Once the gingerbread doors are cool, pipe icing on top in your preferred design.
7. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles or nonpareils on top for decoration.
8. Allow the decorations to dry completely, preferably overnight.
