A fizzy, non-alcoholic beverage bursting with the fresh flavors of early summer. Perfect as a toast alternative for summer celebrations! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g rhubarb - 1 liter water
- 200 g sugar
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 liter sparkling water
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Wash and chop the rhubarb into small pieces. 2. Boil the rhubarb in water for about 15 minutes until it becomes soft.
3. Strain the cooked rhubarb and pour the liquid back into the pot.
4. Add the sugar and lime juice to the strained liquid. Heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
5. Allow the rhubarb juice to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill.
6. Once the rhubarb juice is cold, mix it with the sparkling water.
7. Pour the drink into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
