Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
6. Stir in the cream and vanilla sugar. Mix once more.
7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, you can decorate the cake with powdered sugar or chocolate frosting.
