Ingredients:

- 2 dl milk (or plant-based milk)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt
- Whipped cream or marshmallows (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat, but do not let it boil.
2. Add the cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the milk.
3. Whisk well until the cocoa powder and sugar are completely dissolved.
4. Continue stirring until the cocoa is hot but not boiling.
5. Pour the finished cocoa into a cup and top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
