Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 shallots
- 0.3 dl currants or raisins
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 0.25 teaspoon white pepper
- 2.5 dl chicken broth
- 2 dl couscous
- 1 garlic clove

Instructions:

1. Peel and finely chop the shallots and garlic.
2. Sauté the chopped shallots and garlic in olive oil in a pan over medium heat until they are soft.
3. Add turmeric to the pan and stir well. Continue cooking for a moment.
4. Pour the chicken broth into the pan and bring to a boil.
5. Add couscous, currants or raisins, thyme, and white pepper. Mix well.
6. Cover the pan with a lid and let the couscous swell for about 5-10 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed.
7. Finally, add the chopped parsley and gently mix before serving.
