Delicious and crispy, these cinnamon sugar croissants are the perfect weekend breakfast treat for the whole family. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12 croissants
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of puff pastry
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Place the puff pastry sheets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to thaw. Once thawed, cut the sheets into long triangles from corner to corner.
2. Roll the triangles from the pointed end towards the wide end to form crescent shapes.
3. Brush the croissants lightly with beaten egg and generously sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top.
4. Bake the cinnamon sugar croissants in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
