A delicious grilled chicken skewer recipe infused with the aromatic flavors of Ras el Hanout, perfect for a summer BBQ.
Preparation Time: 45 minutes (including marinating)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken breast
- 2 tbsp Ras el Hanout spice mix
- 100 g dates
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken breast into strips.
2. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, Ras el Hanout, salt, and pepper.
3. Add the chicken strips to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
4. Cut the dates in half and remove the pits.
5. Prepare the skewers: alternate the marinated chicken strips and date halves on the skewers.
6. Grill the skewers over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and nicely golden brown.
7. Serve warm, accompanied by couscous or a salad.
