Ingredients:
- 8 fresh scallops
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Start by making the avocado cream. Mash the avocado, lime juice, and cream in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
2. Prepare the soy-mirin dressing by mixing the soy sauce and mirin together in a bowl.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the scallops to the pan and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Spoon the avocado cream onto plates. Place the seared scallops on top of the cream.
5. Drizzle the soy-mirin dressing over the scallops.
6. Finish the dish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately and enjoy!
