This delicious chocolate cake is the perfect choice for celebrations and will surely delight all chocolate lovers. Easy to prepare, even when you're in a hurry! Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 3 dl sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when it has risen and springs back when touched.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
