Delicious cabbage rolls perfect for any weeknight dinner or festive occasion. These satisfying rolls are packed with flavor and nutrients. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 tsp salt (for boiling cabbage)
- 400 g ground pork and beef mix
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 dl arborio rice
- 1 tsp salt (for filling)
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg
Instructions:
1. Boil cabbage leaves in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove leaves and let them cool.
2. Prepare the filling by cooking arborio rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
3. In a bowl, mix ground meat, chopped spring onions, cooked rice, salt, white pepper, paprika, soy sauce, and egg.
4. Take one cabbage leaf and place a spoonful of filling on it. Fold the sides in and roll the leaf tightly.
5. Repeat until all filling is used.
6. Place the cabbage rolls in a baking dish and pour a little water over them. Cover with foil.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes.
