This delicious roll cake is quick to prepare and perfect for coffee time or as a sweet snack. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl whipped cream
- 1 dl berries or jam (e.g., strawberries or blueberries)
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Whip the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gently fold into the egg-sugar mixture.
4. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth the surface.
5. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
6. Invert the roll cake onto a clean piece of parchment paper and carefully remove the bottom paper.
7. Spread the whipped cream and top with berries or jam over the cake.
8. Roll the cake tightly using the parchment paper.
9. Allow the roll cake to rest for a moment before slicing into serving pieces.
10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
