Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 dl Indian Pale Ale
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 g creamy cheese (e.g., cream cheese or brie)
- 200 g fresh chantarelles
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the Pale Ale, milk, eggs, flour, salt, and baking powder until the batter is smooth.
2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter.
3. Pour a portion of the batter onto the pan for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
4. Once the pancakes are ready, transfer them to a plate and spread creamy cheese on top.
5. In the same pan, add more butter and sauté the chantarelles until they are beautifully golden.
6. Share the sautéed chantarelles over the pancakes with cheese.
7. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
