A delicious and easy side dish perfect for both everyday meals and special occasions. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, serving size is for four.Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley)
Instructions:
1. Peel and rinse the potatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise and slice into 1 cm thick wedges.
2. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
3. Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are not overlapping.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through baking.
5. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
