A delicious and moist dessert perfect for celebrations or coffee breaks. This cake is easy to make and will satisfy any chocolate lover. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for fan oven). 2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is set but the center is still slightly soft.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
