A refreshing and nutritious smoothie perfect for breakfast or a snack. Preparation time: 10 minutes
Serving size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana (frozen)
- 1 cup melon chunks (frozen)
- 1 cup black currants (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup yogurt (e.g., vanilla flavored)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 cup milk or plant-based milk (e.g., almond milk)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Take the frozen banana and melon chunks out and let them thaw slightly.
2. Place all ingredients into a blender: banana, melon, black currants, strawberries, yogurt, honey, and milk.
3. Blend until smooth. Add ice if you want a colder and thicker smoothie.
4. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately!
