Ingredients

- 125 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 120 ml milk
- Rose petals or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk, mixing until smooth.
6. Divide the batter into muffin tins, filling each about 2/3 full.
7. Bake in the oven for about 18-20 minutes, or until the cupcakes are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Allow to cool before decorating. Top with rose petals or sprinkles as desired.
