A moist and flavorful gingerbread cake that's gluten-free and free from white sugar. The perfect holiday treat to satisfy your sweet tooth with just a small piece.

Ingredients:

- 2 dl almond flour
- 1 dl coconut sugar
- 0.5 dl maple syrup
- 0.5 dl honey
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 0.5 tsp cloves
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 dl milk (or plant-based milk)

Frosting:

- 100 g butter (or vegan margarine)
- 2 dl powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp ginger

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a cake pan.
2. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, maple syrup, and honey together. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
4. Pour in the milk and mix until you have a smooth batter.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
6. To make the frosting, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together. Add the cinnamon and ginger, and mix well.
7. Allow the cake to cool before frosting it with the buttercream.
