Ingredients:
- 1 kg cream potatoes
- 500 g carrots
- 300 g chicken strips
- 200 g cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 2 dl cooking cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the cream potatoes and carrots.
2. Boil the cream potatoes and carrots in salted water for about 10 minutes until tender.
3. In a pan, cook the chicken strips until they are cooked through and golden brown.
4. Drain the boiled potatoes and carrots, and place them in a large baking dish.
5. Add the cooked chicken strips to the dish and mix well.
6. Pour the cooking cream over the mixture and season with black pepper and paprika.
7. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it evenly on top.
8. Bake in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving and enjoy at your Halloween celebration!
