Lavender Glögi

A warm and aromatic spiced wine, perfect for cozy winter evenings. Serves 4. Preparation time: 20 minutes.Ingredients:
- 1 liter red wine
- 100 ml sugar
- 200 ml water
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5-6 cloves
- Zest of 1 orange
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 100 ml rum (optional)
Instructions:
1. Pour the red wine into a pot and heat it over low heat.
2. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.
3. Boil the water, then add the dried lavender, cinnamon stick, cloves, and the zests of orange and lemon. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.
4. Strain the lavender-infused liquid into the pot with the red wine and mix well.
5. Heat the glögi gently for a few more minutes, but do not boil.
6. If desired, add the rum and serve hot.
7. Garnish glasses with lavender or lemon slices.
